INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF GAMING REGULATORS
The Casino Regulatory Authority of Singapore (CRA) is a member of the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR).
The objectives of IAGR are to advance the effectiveness and efficiency of gaming regulation by providing:
- A forum through which gaming regulators from around the world can meet, exchange views and information, and discuss policy issues among themselves and with representatives of the international gaming industry;
- A means of fostering cooperation between gaming regulators in the performance of their official duties; and
- A central point of contact for inquiries from governments, gaming regulatory agencies and personnel, and representatives of the international gaming industry.
The former Chief Executive of CRA has been a member of the IAGR Board of Trustees since 2007.
IAGR Conference 2012 - Singapore
The IAGR Conference 2012 was held in Singapore on 21-24 October 2012.
Speakers from both regulatory agencies and the gaming industry shared on topics ranging from “Developments in Asian Gaming: the World’s Largest Market?” to “Sports Betting and Integrity - The Role of the Gambling Regulator”.
This was the first time that IAGR’s annual conference was held in Asia and it was attended by over 200 delegates from more than 30 countries.
