The Electronic Gaming Machines deployed in the two casinos in Singapore must be honest, secure, reliable and auditable. The Singapore Technical Standards for Electronic Gaming Machines describe key technical requirements that serve to achieve these objectives.
The first version (Version 1.0) of the Singapore Technical Standards for Electronic Gaming Machines has been finalised. This set of technical standards is a culmination of extensive research by CRA, with contributions and feedback from our various overseas counterparts and industry stakeholders that we have engaged in our consultation process. Electronic Gaming Machines - Electronic Table Games
A computer or server and any related hardware, software or other devices that are used to conduct gaming, either as a fully automated version or as a semi- automated version (where the collection of bets and payout of winnings are automated) of an existing live table game, is classified as an Electronic Table Game (ETG). ETGs are deemed to be gaming machines and must therefore comply with the above Technical Standards For Electronic Gaming Machines. In addition, ETGs must comply with the following Appendix where further requirements specific to ETGs are stipulated to ensure that they are honest, secure, reliable and auditable.
